DEJURE Foundation is looking for an Executive Director
DEJURE Foundation is an analytical center established in 2016 to promote the rule of law and judicial reform in Ukraine. The organization has 5 areas of work: ensuring the integrity of judges, legal education and access to the legal profession, child-friendly justice, justice for business, openness and efficiency of the judiciary.
Main responsibilities of the Executive Director:
- general management of the organization;
- ensuring the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan, adherence to values and mission;
- coordination of the work of employees and consultants of the organization, promotion of professional growth of the team and leadership development;
- financial management, which includes ensuring the process of development and approval of project initiatives and budgets, fundraising together with project managers/managers of the organization;
- communication with donors, partners and members of the Supervisory Board;
- public presentation of the organization’s position to partners and the media;
- active participation in updating and developing policies and procedures as well as monitoring their implementation.

According to the Articles of Association, the Executive Director is appointed by the Supervisory Board for a term of 3 years.
Requirements for candidates:
- higher education in law, economics, management of non-profit organizations, or other related fields;
- more than 3 years of experience in managerial administrative positions or as a project manager;
- English at C1 level;
- financial literacy – willingness and ability to coordinate the work of accountants and project managers;
- experience in raising funds for the activities of the organization;
- understanding of the peculiarities of the work of public organizations, the process of preparation of analytical materials, the process of formation of state policy, legislative processes;
- ability to work in a team, build effective relationships, join forces;
- supporting and developing leadership style;
- systematic thinking, the ability to make balanced decisions, to be aware of their consequences and results;
- experience in the non-profit sector will be an advantage.
