Oleksiy Melnyk and Oleh Kanzyuba were elected as new members of the HCJ
On February 28, 2023, Oleksiy Melnyk and Oleh Kanzyuba were elected as new members of the HCJ at the Conference of Prosecutors.
Oleksiy Melnyk was the head of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor’s Office of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Oleh Kanzyuba held the position of deputy head of the crime prevention department in the prosecutor’s office of the internal security department of the General Inspectorate of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Previously, the Ethics Council recognised them as meeting the criteria of integrity and professionalism. We hope that there will be no reason to doubt this in the future.
The HCJ is moving towards greater capacity: it currently has 17 members out of 21.
