Who will join the Constitutional Court? The selection commission has revealed the candidates who have successfully passed the integrity check.
The Advisory Group of Experts (AGE) announced the list of candidates for the Constitutional Court (CCU), who will proceed to the next stage of the competition — the evaluation of professional qualities. The criterion of high moral qualities is met by:
Under quota of the Congress of Judges: Alla Oliynyk, Oleksandra Yanovska, Nataliya Denysenko.
Under the quota of the Parliament: Nataliya Denysenko (she applied under both quotas), Serhiy Riznyk, Taras Tsymbalisty, Oleksandr Vodiannikov, Yuriy Barabash, Roman Yaromenok.
The CCU currently has five open positions, with three allocated for Parliament nominations and two for the Congress of Judges. Legally, the AGE is required to suggest a minimum of two candidates per vacancy. Presently, there are insufficient nominees from the Congress of Judges, prompting the need for a subsequent selection round.
We thank the AGE for its work at this stage and continue to monitor the progression of the competition with cautious optimism.
